Local CDL-A Truck Driver | Intermodal

Within 25 miles of Bethlehem, PA;

All tractors will leave and return at the Intermodal yard daily.

All drivers must have their own transportation to commute to and from the yard daily.

Drivers work 5 days a week by schedule but can work an optional 6th day for extra pay.

All tractors on this fleet are day cabs with Automatic transmission. The pay structure is Hourly pay (see compensation section for hourly rates per experience and fleet pay averages. A typical work shift will have multiple dispatches with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight.Expect to work 10-12 hours per day with the average dispatch being a 50-mile radius from the rail ramp.

Occasional customer or mechanical delays may require overnight stays.

Currently recruiting for a late 1st shift schedule with scheduled days off being Fri/Sat.

Shift would have start times anywhere from 10:00 to 13:00.

Trucks are governed at 65 miles per hour and 63 mph pedalPack Smart optimizes for overnight stays in warm or cool climates.

It offers up to 10 hours of cooling and 34 hours of heating.

Trucks are also equipped with Best Pass Transponder, which allows our load to go through approved tolls without stopping.

Inverters
All company shop locations will offer inverters for purchase for company drivers. Only Tundra 2000W inverter and installation kit will be used.The package will be sold for $504.

This assumes the purchase price of the inverter is $253.47, the installation kit $139, and 2 hours of labor. Payroll deduction with be $42/week for 12 weeks.
